The Ukrainian Nuclear Forum support the inclusion of nuclear in the CDA of taxonomy regulation

We, the Ukrainian Nuclear Forum, urge the European Parliament to support the inclusion of nuclear in the CDA of the taxonomy regula-tion. More nuclear means less gas and therefore less dependence on Russia. A independency that we as a sovereign country are fighting for since the invasion started.
The more investments are allowed and encouraged in the nuclear sector in the EU, the more the EU will ensure its security of supply, so precious in nowadays context.
Background: The CDA provides for the inclusion of nuclear energy in the tax-onomy regulation and establish criteria for investment in nuclear power plants.
Ukrainian Nuclear Forum (UNF) is an association that unites 18 enterprises of the nuclear industrial complex of Ukraine. The enterprises of the association provide about 140,000 jobs.
